Visiting Russia was - wow - something I had never really thought I'd do. But, when the opportunity presented itself to explore a place that not many people get to, I had to take the chance. And truthfully, it was eye-opening. Three weeks spent traveling between Moscow, St. Petersburg, and the Russian countryside brought me sights, scenes, and memories I could have never imagined. And to this day, though a bit of an isolating experience as a cultural and linguistic foreigner, it's something I will never take for granted.
